Women's Health: A practical workshop from cradle to grave

Approved for 40 CAT 1 points (Women's Health)

An interactive program working with simulated patients in a safe environment. 

Participants will be introduced to current information relating to the following health and social issues affecting women and girls:

  • Family violence
  • Breast cancer screening
  • Genetic conditions
  • Cervical cancer screening
  • Dementia

The program has two main elements:

  1. Online learning (undertaken prior to attending the workshop)
  2. One day workshop (face-to-face)

The workshop is an interactive day, culminating in an opportunity for GP participants to apply their learnings by undertaking scenarios with simulated patients, addressing the variety of health and social issues covered in the program.
