There are many factors that concern International Medical Graduates about their AMC Clinical Exam; having up-to-date knowledge, time management, and ensuring their communication is empathetic and professional.
Spending as much time as possible with your tutor and discussing cases is ideal, but sometimes - timing and other commitments prevent this.
To help International Medical Graduates prepare for their AMC Clinical Examination, HEAL has created eOSCEs (electronic OSCEs), which are facilitated by an experienced clinician.
Each webinar is one hour long and contains two different scenarios. You will watch videos of experienced clinicians performing the role of the OSCE candidate, conducting clinical encounters with a trained simulated patient, based on different scenarios (e.g. examination, diagnosis or management of a patient).
After the videos, you can engage in discussion with the facilitator for each case and examine ways to demonstrate improved clinical knowledge, professional skills and communication. The discussion will encourage you to critically reflect on practice and provide an opportunity for you to ask questions to assist you to understand the rationale and approach for each performance – all from the comfort of your own home!
Each webinar will take place between 2:00-3:00pm (AEST)
